Research and reference architectures for trusted industrial information. Bita Trust develops non-normative research frameworks and protocol-neutral reference architectures for trusted digital interoperability. The Institute does not issue official standards, certification or conformity decisions. Its work is intended to complement independently governed standards, regulatory frameworks, professional methods and implementation ecosystems.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advance trusted industrial data quality and interoperability through Data Physics, source-side trust formation and trusted state exchange.
We focus on how industrial information can be prepared, structured and represented in ways that support auditability, data minimization, interoperability and local data governance requirements.
Institutional Foundations
Through research, intellectual property development and engineering practices, the Institute develops frameworks for understanding industrial information through states, state evolution and state-derived representations associated with physical entities.
For dynamic industrial contexts, State Derivatives (D = dS/dt) provide a way to describe the evolution of physical states over time.
The objective is to develop reference architectures and enabling frameworks that support trusted interoperability, data continuity and cross-system information exchange across heterogeneous industrial and digital environments.

Macro State Exchange Domains under the General Theory of Data Physics
Bita Trust has published a new Zenodo preprint: Macro State Exchange Domains under the General Theory of Data Physics: A Research Agenda for Cross-Domain State Representation, Evidence Formation, and Trusted Exchange.
This publication introduces Macro State Exchange Domains as a research category under the General Theory of Data Physics. It examines how state may be represented, evidenced, trusted and exchanged across different institutional, technical and jurisdictional contexts.
The paper identifies several candidate research directions:
MHSE: Medical Health State Exchange
FPSE: Financial Position State Exchange
LPSE: Legal Process State Exchange
EPSE: Environmental and Ecological State Exchange
PASE: Public Administrative State Exchange
These domains are introduced as long-term research directions under the General Theory of Data Physics. These domains are introduced as long-term exploratory research directions. Further work may be developed progressively through research validation, interdisciplinary dialogue and appropriate participation from the relevant domains. They do not represent current commercial products, active implementation programmes or claims of domain-specific authority.
This publication marks a new step in Bita Trust’s continuing research on state-derived data, source-side evidence formation and trusted state exchange.

Yaxi Han
Founder & Chief Architect
UN/CEFACT Expert, member of ISO/TC 154 WG 6, WG 7 and JWG 9, and author of The General Theory of Data Physics, published on Zenodo and SSRN.
He participates in UN/CEFACT work related to Digital Product Passports and the cross-border traceability of critical minerals, with a particular focus on entity state, data sources, claims and supporting evidence, validity and change, and trusted information exchange across organizational boundaries.
Within ISO/TC 154, he participates in work covering Trusted eCommunications, Digital Business and supply-chain information exchange aligned with UN/CEFACT semantics.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience across industrial technology, renewable energy, energy storage and product data, his research focuses on the relationship between physical reality, digital information and trust — including how information exchanged between organizations can remain connected to the state, source, evidence, responsibility and validity of the reality it represents.

Member of ISO/TC 154 WG 6, WG 7 and JWG 9.
She leads operational coordination and external collaboration at Bita Trust, working with industry participants, research communities and international partners on trusted product data and cross-organizational information exchange.
Within ISO/TC 154, she participates in work covering Trusted eCommunications, Digital Business and supply-chain information exchange aligned with UN/CEFACT semantics.
Her work focuses on connecting Bita Trust’s research with industry engagement, practical use cases and international collaboration, helping translate emerging data and interoperability requirements into problems that can be examined from the source side of industry.
